ABSTRACT IMAGE EFFECT
STEP 1: This tutorial is a beginner level, not too much skills needed, although as I suggested you must have learn some basic knowledge on Photoshop. Ok, first of all, create a 200x200 Transparent Image(I always suggest Transparent). After doing this choose the gradient tool    and choose the option of "Diamond Gradient"  . Choose as colors black and white and do a star like the one below.

STEP 2: After doing that, Invert it (CTRL-I). After being inverted, go to Filters->Distort->Wave. Use the Custom Settings of Wave. By using randomize you can change the shape of the image and stay with the one you like the most. After doing that the image will be like this:

STEP 3: Duplicate the Layer(for duplicating the layer right click on the current layer and click on the option Duplicate Layer). So you know will have two layers, one above and one below, the one above. Choose the above one and go to Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal. After doing that also do Flip Vertical. On layers mode choose the "Difference" Layer mode. After doing this, Merge Visible them and your image will end like this.

STEP 4: After merged the image, go to Filters->Stylize->Find Edges. After doing this invert the image. You'll end up something like this.

STEP 5: As you see the image, it's too dark! So there are two ways of managing brightness. If you know using Levels, use them, for example I used 175 of Input Level. But if you don't know using this tool, the best way of managing brightness, go to Image->Adjustments->Brightness/Contrast. In Brightness I put +20 and in Contrast +70. You've finished, see the Abstract Image you done.
